Урок по английскому языку в 4 классе по теме: «My home


Урок по английскому языку в 4 классе по теме: «My home, my flat» .


Цель урока: Вывести учащихся на творческий уровень владения устной речью и применения лексики по теме, формирование коммуникативной и социокультурной компетенций.


Задачи урока:


Учебные:

Продолжить формировать лексические навыки, совершенствование навыков монологической и диалогической речи, закрепление грамматических навыков и умений употребления в речи оборота there is/ there are, составления вопросительных предложений с оборотом, употребления предлогов в устной речи, образования степеней сравнения прилагательных и наречий, способствовать выработке умений формировать устные высказывания с опорой на источник информации, на свой жизненный и речевой опыт.


Развивающие:

Развивать умение систематизировать знания, память, креативное мышление, логику изложения в устной речи.


Воспитательные:

Воспитывать у учащихся чувства любви и ответственного отношения к своему дому, родному очагу; формировать положительные черты характера: доброжелательность, активность, уважение, толерантность, уважать мнение других, умение выслушать собеседника, сплоченно работать в командах.


Оборудование:

магнитофон, аудиокассеты, видеопроектор, интерактивная доска, карточки для групповой формы работы, компьютер.


Наглядность:

иллюстрации, изображающие различные комнаты в квартире и предметы мебели.


^ Ход урока:


  1. Оргмомент. Приветствие. Рапорт дежурного. Ответы на вопросы учителя.


T: Good morning, pupils! I am glad to see you! How are you today? I am glad that you are well. Maybe somebody is nervous. Don’t worry, dear. You are clever students and everything will be OK.

  • Who is on duty today?

  • What date is it today? What day is it today? Who is absent today?



  1. Сообщение темы и целей урока. Введение в иноязычную атмосферу.


Dear pupils, today we will remember all what we know about our house, flat or room. All of us have our own home. We will speak about it, remember all the furniture of your room. How would you like to work at the lesson: everybody for himself or in teams? In teams? Then let us divide into two teams. That’s well. The work in teams gives more opportunities for all pupils. Everybody can take part in the competitions. You will do some exercises and receive for the right answer and for the wrong answer . Be attentive and serious. At the end of the lesson we’ll count all pluses and minuses and get a score. According it you will get your marks.


  1. Now let’s begin our competition. The first task: you must guess the words and write them on the board.

  6. What is there in the right corner of the room? - There is a bookcase in the right corner of the room.

  7. What is there next to the bookcase? - There is a sofa next to the bookcase.

  8. What is there in front of the sofa? - There is TV in front of the sofa.

  9. What is there on the wall above the sofa? - There is a picture on the wall above the sofa.


Look at another picture and answer the questions:

  1. What is it? - It is a bedroom.

  2. What kind of room is it? - It is not very big but cosy.

  3. What is there in the right corner of the room?

  4. What is there next to the window?

Ученики отвечают на вопросы учителя и отрабатывают конструкции для составления рассказа по картинкам.


5. The following task is: to describe the living room( for the first team) and the bedroom ( for the second one) using the pictures.


Your task is to make up short conversations about your flat or room:

The first dialog:

  • Where do you live?

  • Not far from our school.

  • But we moved to a new flat and I live far from here.

  • Really? Do you like your new flat? What is it?

  • It is a big three-room flat. We have a hall, a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, my room, a bathroom.

  • What is your own room?

  • It is not big but very cosy.

  • Do you have a computer in your room?

  • Yes, of cause. Let’s go to my home together and play computer games.

  • With great pleasure!


The second short conversation:

  • Hello, Vlad!

  • Hi, Alex!

  • Do you have a room of your own?

  • Yes, I live in a big flat. There are three rooms in it: a living room, a bedroom and my

own room.

  • What is your room?

  • It is not very big but nice.

  • What furniture do you have in your room?

  • I have a desk, a chair, a bed, an armchair and a bookcase in my room.

  • Do you have TV there?

  • Yes, sure. It is in the right corner of the room.

  • Do you have a computer in your room?

  • Yes, there is a computer on my desk.

  • Let’s go and play computer games together.

  • OK, hurry up!

Учащиеся составляют и разыгрывают несколько диалогов по теме.

  1. Dear children, we learned a lot of proverbs. When we travel, we always remember our home and say:




  • East or West, home is best.

  • There is no place like home.


These English proverbs have the same meaning like Russian proverb :

В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше.

It means we like our home, the place where we live. We miss our home anywhere we were.

Цели и задачи

Учебные

Совершенствование навыков диалогической и монологической речи, закрепление и контроль изученной лексики по теме, развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся, способствовать выработке умений формировать устные неподготовленные сообщения с опорой на источник информации, на свой жизненный и речевой опыт, развитие навыков аудирования.

Развивающие

Развитие способности к логическому изложению содержания, развитие объема памяти, умения систематизировать знания, развитие познавательного интереса через вовлечение учащихся в творческую деятельность.

Воспитательные

Воспитание бережного отношения к животным, любви к диким и домашним животным, повышение познавательного интереса и любознательности учащихся в отношении окружающей нас природы, животного мира, обучение навыкам работы в оптимальном темпе, умению работать в группах, формирование чувства ответственности, коллективизма, сотворчества, самореализации.

Оборудование:

Магнитофон с аудиозаписями, проектор, компьютер, интерактивная доска, раздаточный материал для групповой работы, иллюстрации с изображением диких и домашних животных а также мест их обитания.

Ход урока

Оргмомент. Дежурный ученик отвечает на вопросы учителя:

  • What date is it today? What day of the week is it today? Who is absent today? итд

  • Речевая зарядка: под аудиозапись учащиеся повторяют рифмовки про животных с целью отработки произношения отдельных звуков:

  • A fat cat sat on a mat. This rat is very fat. etc

  • Сообщение темы и целей урока. Dear pupils, today we’ll remember all what we know about the world of animals. I wonder how would you like to work at our lesson: in teams or everybody for himself? If you wish to work in teams, let’s divide into two teams. You will take part in the competition. For the right answer you will receive plus and for the wrong one minus. At the end of the lesson we’ll count them and get a score.Will see who will be the winner! You are clever students and it will be all right. Don’t worry, dear pupils, good luck!

  • Answer me: - What animals do you know? (Domestic and wild animals)

  • Первая команда получает задание отгадать кроссворд про домашних животных, вторая – про диких. Контроль осуществляется на интерактивной доске. Представители каждой команды по одному подходят к доске и заполняют пустые клетки кроссворда с названиями животных. За правильно выполненное задание команды получают баллы.

  • Минутка релаксации. Pupils, you worked hard,you are tired. Now relax a little. Ученики под музыку поют и выполняют упражнения:

  • Hands up! Hands down!

  • Hands on quick! Sit down!

  • Clap, clap, clap your hands!

  • Clap your hands together! итд



  • We continue our competition. All of you are the animals. Every animal will tell about itself and you must guess who is it.

  • Представители каждой команды рассказывают о домашних и диких животных, не называя их. Ученики отгадывают, о каком животном идет речь. За правильно угаданное животное команда получает очко:

  • I am red and beautiful. I live in the forest. I am very cunning. I eat hares, mice and other

  • small animals. When I am near the village, I can catch a hen or a cockerel, they are so tasty! Who am I? ( Ребята отгадывают и указывают на изображение лисы на интерактивной доске).

  • I am a very interesting animal. I live in Africa. My neck is very long. I eat leaves in the trees. I am the tallest animal in the world!

  • I am big and strong. I’m green. I live in the river. My tail is long. I have a lot of sharp teeth. I eat fish and other animals. I am angry and dangerous for people.

  • I’m big. I live in the country. I eat grass. I give people milk and meat…

Эта форма работы очень нравится ребятам, они с удовольствием перевоплощаются в животных и рассказывают о них, быстро угадывают, о ком идет речь.

  • T. – The following competition is to make up short conversations about the wild animals for the first team and for the domestic animals for the second team.

  • Учащиеся обеих команд придумывают диалоги о животных и инсценируют их, демонстрируя свои умения и отрабатывая диалогическую речь. Диалоги получаются приблизительно следующими:

  • Hello, Ann!

  • Hello, Kate!

  • Do you have a pet at home?

  • Yes, I have cat.

  • What is its name?

  • Its name is Grey.

  • What colour is it?

  • It is grey, white and black.

  • What does your Grey eat?

  • It eats fish, meat and cream.

  • What can it do?

  • My cat can run, jump and play.

  • Do you often play with your cat?

  • Yes, we play together every day. And now I am going to the shop to buy some fish for my pet.

  • Good bye, Ann, I’ll call you in the evening!

  • Good bye, Kate! I’ll wait for your ring!

  • What is your favourite wild animal?

  • My favourite wild animal is a bear.

  • Where does a bear live?

  • It lives in the forest. But we can see it in the zoo.

  • What colour is a bear?

  • It is brown.

  • What does a bear eat?

  • A bear eats fish, meat and other smaller animals. But it likes honey most of all.

  • Really? What can a bear do?

  • It can run, jump and climb the trees.

  • Oh, you know a lot about bears. I think they are funny animals.

  • They are very strong, big and clever. You can take a book about bears from the library.

  • Sure, I’ll read about bears. And now I have to go home to do my home work.

  • Good bye, Denis! Will see tomorrow!

  • Good buy, Nick! Ring me up!



Teacher: Dear pupils, now your task is to tell us about your favourite animal or about your pet.

Make up the story about domestic and wild animal. The members of the first team will tell about

domestic animals and the students of the second team about wild animals.

Учащиеся обеих команд готовят монологи о животных и рассказывают их, показывая изображения соответствующих животных на интерактивной доске.

Примеры монологов учащихся:

I have a pet. It is my dog. Its name is Lucky. It is black and white. Lucky is very clever and kind.

It can run, jump and bark. It eats meat, fish and bones. Lucky likes children very much. It can play with me all the day. Lucky is my good friend. It is very true. When I come home from school, Lucky becomes happy and begins to jump around me. I love my pet, it is the best dog in the world!


My favourite wild animal is a dolphin. A dolphin lives in the sea or in the ocean. It is rather big. But it is smaller than a whale. It can be black and grey. A dolphin is a very good diver, it can swim very quickly. It eats fish. It is a very clever animal. Dolphins often help people and safe them in the sea. Dolphins can speak to each other and understand people well. Dolphins work

with people in the circus and in dolphinariums.They are the kindest animals in the world!


Teacher:

We continue our competition. We learned a lot of poems about animals. And you wrote many your own poems about the animals. Let’s recite some rhimes about the domestic and wild animals.

Pupils, can you remember any songs about animals? Both teams sing the songs devoted to animals and get pluses for them:

A song about little penguins friends, a song about our toy- animals, about a dog, a hare, a wolf,

a cock, a frog.
